Thirteen municipal clerks from across New York State graduated from the New York Municipal Clerks Institute (NYMCI) on Wednesday, July 18, at the conclusion of the second annual Certified Municipal Clerk Training at the Rockefeller Institute of Government.
The intensive four-day training included 38 participants, an increase of 35 percent from the previous year. To graduate from NYMCI and become a Certified Municipal Clerk, participants must complete 120 credit hours offered over the course of three years. The program is accredited by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
