Tiana Gaudette is a research specialist and Ph.D. candidate in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on violence prevention, public safety, and the role of technology in facilitating violent extremism. At Michigan State, she works on funded projects addressing school violence and strategies for enhancing law enforcement capacity. Tiana’s research has appeared in leading journals including Crime & Delinquency, New Media & Society, and Terrorism and Political Violence, as well as in several edited volumes. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminology from Simon Fraser University.
