Sabrina Arredondo Mattson is a senior research associate and research director at the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has extensive experience collaborating with schools and community-based organizations to conduct research and evaluations focused on preventing and reducing violence. Her work spans critical areas such as positive youth development, school safety, youth delinquency prevention, violence prevention, and firearm injury prevention. Currently, Dr. Arredondo Mattson serves as the principal investigator or co-principal investigator on projects that use data-driven approaches to implement evidence-based programs and strategies designed to reduce violence and foster positive development in schools and communities.
