Katie Gowing is a sophomore at the University at Albany, SUNY, who majors in political science and public policy. In fall 2018, Gowing interned with the Rockefeller Institute’s Center for Law & Policy Solutions, researching reproductive healthcare and services in New York State. Gowing, who is a member of the UAlbany Women’s Soccer Team, is currently working on her thesis, which focuses on abortion and crisis pregnancy centers in the United States. With a concentration in public law, she plans to attend law school to continue working in civil and human rights advocacy.
