Favor Ufondu is a medical student at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her research interests include acute care, firearm injury prevention, quality improvement (QI), and equitable care outcomes. She recently co-authored two narrative reviews on LGBTQ+ healthcare access and delivery in Rhode Island. Her current work focuses on firearm injury epidemiology with a specific focus on the social drivers of health that may contribute to patterns indicative of increased risk or disparities. Before joining the Warren Alpert Medical School, Favor graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology and Hispanic Studies.
