Aayush Chitransh is a PhD candidate in engineering science in the School of Applied Engineering and Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He received a BBA in information technology from Symbiosis International University in 2021 and an MS in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2025. Before pursuing graduate studies, he worked as a software engineer at Accenture from 2021 to 2023. His research focuses on the quantitative evaluation of public policies, with an emphasis on firearm violence prevention and public health. His research interests include causal inference, time series analysis, quantitative policy evaluation, and human behavior.
