Bob Rakhmatullaev is a PhD student at the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany, SUNY. His research interests include determinants of violence within organized crime groups, the experiences of violent hate crime victims, attitudes toward gun-carrying policies on college campuses, and the comparative analysis of gun ownership trends in rural versus urban settings. With clinical experience in reentry services, he has worked with inmates who have been victims and perpetrators of gun-related violence. Bob holds an MA in clinical psychology from Pennsylvania State University.
