Attorney and Former Chairman
Carl Hayden is an attorney and former chairman of the SUNY Board of Trustees. Hayden was elected to the New York State Board of Regents in 1990 and was elected chancellor in 1995. He was named chancellor emeritus of the Board of Regents in April 2002 after 12 years on the Board.
