Roni Barak Ventura is an assistant professor at the School of Applied Engineering and Technology, New Jersey Institute of Technology. She received a BSc in biology from the University of Rochester in 2014 and a MSc and PhD in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering from New York University in 2017 and 2021, respectively. Between 2021 and 2023, she served as a science analyst in the Directorate for Engineering at the National Science Foundation. Her research interests include quantitative policy evaluation, causal inference, time series analysis, and human behavior.
