The Rockefeller Institute of Government is seeking a student assistant for a part-time position for 20 hours per week to provide temporary information design support to the Rockefeller Institute of Government Communications Department. Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Assist the communications department in creating a digital version of the Rockefeller Institute’s New York State Statistical Yearbook.
+ Recommend and help develop data visualizations from the Statistical Yearbook and other projects as needed.
The student for information systems will report directly to the director of communications.
+ Ability to work with a team and independently
+ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Experience with Tableau software
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products
+ Experience with information design and interactive data visualization
+ Graphic design experience preferred
