The Rockefeller Institute of Government is seeking a student assistant for a part-time position for 20 hours per week to provide temporary graphic design support to the Rockefeller Institute of Government Communications Department. Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Assist in the creation of graphics for print, web, and social media to support research and communications goals.
+ Assist with maintenance and updating of the Rockefeller Institute website.
+ Assist with the development of interactive graphics for the Institute’s New York State Statistical Yearbook.
The student for information systems will report directly to the director of communications.
+ Ability to work with a team and independently
+ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Graphic design experience for both print and digital media
+ Knowledge of and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
+ Familiarity with the Wordpress platform
+ Experience with or interest in interactive data visualization preferred
