The Center for Education Pipeline Systems Change at the Rockefeller Institute of Government will hire a Graduate Research Assistant dedicated to providing support to the Center’s research agenda. Reporting directly to the Center Director, the Graduate Research Assistant will work with researchers, staff, and outside organizations.
A successful candidate for this positions should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the early childhood and PK-12 environment and the higher education sector; knowledge, background, and/or interest in cross-sector systems change; appreciation for the conceptual basis of the quality movement from historic beginnings to current manifestations in continuous improvement; and an interest in and willingness to learn more about the collective impact movement.
+ Experience with comprehensive literature reviews both online and traditional.
+ Support assigned researchers to stay on task with meeting project deadlines.
+ Organize calls and other scheduling of events.
+ Assist with report summaries and memoranda and other tasks as requested.
+ Ability to utilize appropriate forms of social media.
+ Work with the Communications Departments to keep the Center’s webpages up to date.
+ Ability to support online instruction.
+ Other responsibilities and assignments will be given by the director depending on the Center’s needs.
To qualify for this position, the student must be enrolled full time in a SUNY graduate degree-granting program and should be available to work up to 20 hours per week.
$15- $17 per hour depending on experience.
